My amazing wife told me I needed to start a blog of all my racing adventures. I want to capture all of these memories, both good and bad, and educate people on what motorsports is all about! My main goal is to share all the trials, tribulations, and joys of racing at the grassroots level. To show what happens behind the curtain when you hear someone say "I'm going racing this weekend!"

Sebring Podium in the Race Under the Stars

We finished off a "beach vacation" with a 14-hour ChampCar Endurance Race at Sebring International Raceway!

Nick will provide a full recap soon, but here are some highlights:

Never been to this track before, had 10-ish laps in practice on Friday. After a weather delayed the start, he finally got into the car for the second stint and started out racing in the dark!

His lap times just got faster and faster throughout the night! His first stint was driving from about 930-11pm, then he hopped back in the car from 3am-5am or so.

It's such a wild experience to be racing overnight and something unlike anything else he's experienced!

As of the end of the race:
His personal best on Sebring International Raceway is 2:43.791 (BMW E46).
His team placed FIRST in their class!! Their sister car also placed second so it was a double podium weekend!
